2012 Women’s Soccer Programs

The Ottawa Internationals Soccer Club fields teams for women of all ages and experience.

Our Women's teams of play in both the Competitive and Recreational divisions of the Ottawa-Carleton Soccer League (OCSL) which is under the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association (EODSA).

In addition, we have a programme for women who are interested in fitness and in learning some of the skills required to play the game. We call this our Women's So-Fit programme. The players will work out and scrimmage for 2 hours on Saturday mornings at our new artificial turf field at Hillcrest High School.

Generally speaking, adult players in the higher level Competitive division (Women’s Premier) have played soccer at a relatively high competitive level for several years in Clubs and possibly at university or community college.

Those playing in the lower Competitive and Recreational divisions may also have that experience but neither the desire nor the time to invest in training, as Premier players often must devote 3 or 4 days a week to the game while at the lower divisions the expectation is one practice and one game per week and the level of actual playing experience prior to joining a team lessens on average as you change levels.
