Fall Training 2009

IT'S NEVER TO EARLY TO START THINKING ABOUT FALL TRAINING

NOTE: U17 girls at Ottawa U, there is no SAQ training or goal keeper training

The Ottawa International Soccer Club is pleased to offer its very successful fall skill and tactical training program starting in Mid-September 2009. Top level coaches will deliver high-performance sessions carefully tailored to meet the needs of different age groups.

Who: The program will be offered for both boys U5 t0 U15 and girls for ages U5 to U18, based on your age category in 2010.

When: Training sessions will start in mid-September and run until the end of October with Saturday and/or Sunday sessions depending on your age group.

What Will I Get?

Skill and Tactics: Each training program has been developed based on input from the club's competitive coaches to meet the particular skill and tactical requirements of the different age groups. All groups will receive intensive training for individual skill development with increasing levels of tactical training for older age groups.

SAQ: For Girls U12-U16+ and boys U12-15 there will be separate Speed Agility and Quickness (SAQ) training offered during the week.

USA Tournament: Girls U13-U15 will be offered an opportunity to attend an away USA “Friendly Tournament” at the end October. Tryouts for the tournament teams may be required depending on the number of players interested in participating.

Who Should Attend: The fall program is open to all OISC club players, competitive as well as recreational, and offers an intensive skill and tactical development program for younger players who want to develop required skills and for older players with the drive to take their skills to the next level. Non-club players interested in experiencing the club's commitment to good training may also attend if space is available.
