Therefore, since there is another tournament (The Pat O'Kane Tournament for senior men's and women's teams) taking place on the week-end of May 31-June 1 and they have requested to host 40 teams, the allotment to the Icebreaker's Boys' Tournament has been limited this year to 120 teams. May 16, 2008 Note - Due to the fact that we are unable to expand any Pools by any amount of teams, please note that the teams that are on the U-12 to U-18 Waiting Lists will, unfortunately, only gain entry into this year's competition if an already-accepted team withdraws from its Pool, which has happened on 25 occasions on the Boys' side so far this year. So, there still is hope. we are, however, still seeking ONE team for each of the U-11 Snow Pool and the U-11 Ice Pool. Thanks for your tremendous support! To date, the total of accepted U-12 and older teams amounts to: 120 TEAMS We have just one spot still available in the Boys' Icebreaker and that is in the: U-11 Ice Pool - 1 Team The success of our tournament relies heavily on the combination of great volunteers and the partnerships that we have established with our sponsors. Effective immediately, one of the criteria for acceptance into the Icebreaker tournament will be that your hotel accommodations have been secured through the Hudson Travel Group. Hudson has secured blocks of rooms at reasonable prices at all of the participating host hotels. So, please be sure to contact them early in order to reserve your team's rooms.
