OISC - BU11P Swipers Finishes Season on Top!

Congratulations to the BU11P team, the “Swipers” who finished in 1st place in the EODSA league and who won the ERSL Cup. The Swipers also won 5 out of the 6 tournaments they played this summer, including the NDG tournament in Montreal and the Ambassador Cup in Kingston. Their performance in out of town tournaments contributed to building the OISC’s reputation in the region. This impressive team lost only 2 of a total of 46 games played this season. They scored 143 goals and only had 27 against, confirming them as the strongest defensive squad in the region. Three of the players are ranked in the top 10 goal scorers of the league!

Some of the Swipers players and coach have been together for two- three years already. It is one of several factors that has made this team a success. Other factors include: hard work, determination, supportive and committed parents, and an experienced coaching team.

U10P Girls Win Gold at Russell Tournament

Congratulations to the OISC Kicking Tigers who won gold at the Russell U10 Inter-Provincial Soccer Tournament. The final game was played vs OSU, as last year, and ended in a 2-1 victory when the winning goal was scored just minutes before the end of the second half. Special thanks to the Kicking Tigers Coaching team: Stephanie Spruston, Pamela Cross, Jennifer Tomlinson and Renso Vettoretti. Tigers CAN DO!

OISC U9 Eagles Take Gold at MIST tournament

Congratulations to the Ottawa Internationals BU9 EAGLES players and coaching staff for going undefeated and capturing the Gold Medal at the MIST 2008 tournament on Aug 16/17.

OISC U17 Boys team takes home the Cup

Congratulations to the BU17R team who on Sunday won the U18 ERSL Cup. The game was a closely contested event against the Cataraqui Clippers. The game which was played on the impeccable field at the OZ complex ended in a 1-1 score. After 20 minutes of extra time, the boys won the game in a 4-2 shoot-out victory. A big round of applause for the achievement of Ali Arshibeklash and his squad.

OISC Youth Cup and Shield Update

Congratulations to the boys U17 R who are in the U18 cup finals this Sunday at the Oz dome @ 3:00 against the Cataraqui Clippers. The entire club wishes them the very best and encourages members to come out and support the team.
