Refund Policy

Developmental Soccer Program (DSP) and Youth REC

  • All requests for refunds must be in writing to the appropriate VP, indicating the reason for such a request.
  • Prior to April 30th, full refunds will be permitted for situations such as not being able to receive your primary site choice or moving out of the district. All other requests for refunds prior to April 30th are subject to an administration fee of $25.
  • Prior to July 1, where a player suffers a season ending injury, a refund will be issued based on a prorated basis less an administration fee of $50.
  • No refunds will be issued after July 1.

Youth Competitive

  • All refunds will be charged a $25 administration fee.
  • Tryout fee of $30 is non-refundable.
  • All requests for refunds must be in writing to the appropriate VP, indicating the reason for such request.
  • Full refunds (minus the $30 tryout fee) will be made only where a player trying out for a competitive team is not selected and the Club is unable to offer a suitable alternative.


  • Refunds will not be made in the following circumstances:
    • Where a player leaves the Club after being selected to a team.
    • Where the player has been disciplined by an appropriate body governing soccer in Ottawa

  • No refunds will be given after June 1st except where a player suffers a season ending injury prior to July 1st. Any refund will be prorated by the number of weeks (May-July) up to the time of the injury, less club administration fees and any fees paid to leagues or governing bodies.
  • All refund requests will be assessed on merit and must be approved by the respective Vice-President and Treasurer. During the busy registration period, there will be a delay before refund requests can be processed.

Adults

  • All refunds will be charged a $65 fee which includes tryout costs and administration expenses.
  • All requests for refunds must be in writing to Adult VP , indicating the reason for such request.
  • email Mark Zamparo at adults@ottawasoccer.com, indicating the reason for such request.
  • Full refunds (minus the $65 tryout and administrative fee) will be made only where a player trying out for a competitive or recreational team is not selected and the Club is unable to offer a suitable alternative.


  • Refunds will not be made in the following circumstances:
    • Where a player leaves the Club after accepting a spot on an Internationals team.
    • Where the player has been disciplined by an appropriate body governing soccer in Ottawa.

  • No refunds will be given after July 1st except where a player suffers a season ending injury prior to July 1st 2007. Any refund will be prorated by the number of weeks (May-August) up to the time of the injury, less club administration fees and any fees paid to leagues or governing bodies.

Refund Policy for Indoor Skills Program

  • Refund equals Registration fee less $25 administration fee less 50% for withdrawals before January 1.
